Nevada Street, Winthrop, MA
A quaker nest was spotted on the light pole on Nevada Street. We search around the area, didn’t find any quakers. Rumor says that there were a couple of quaker in the area. The couple usually hang out around the Belle Isle Marsh Park. We stopped by the park on January 31st 2026, still didn’t find traces of the couple.
Belle Isle Marsh is a State Park located in 1399 Bennington Street, East Boston, MA. It has the largest remaining salt marsh in the Boston area.
The Department of Conservation & Recreation (DCR) conducts biological research in the area. (The apple was put up by the DCR)

Adjacent to the parking lot, behind the mobile bathroom, the park staff puts up bird feeder. A lot of birds were attracted to the area. We saw woodpecker, Chickadee, Finches, and a bunch of Doves. Though we didn’t see the quaker couple.
